LOL! Now back to my original question, what else can i fit in the front dash to cover that big empty spot instead of covering it with wood? Thanks

How about a small center channel speaker? Not sure if they make something that small, or maybe two tweeters angles towards the driver. So the driver and the passenger will have a set of tweeters of their own. I think the imaging would be awesome!

No offense, but you guys gotta think about when the screen is slided out and tilted upwards about 99% of the time, it will block that area. I appreciate your opinions though

Yeah, eq is an idea....only problem with moving the screen up is this....if I go any higher with it, you wont get the full tilt range out of the screen because it will hit the air conditioning knobs ... the screens comes within a 1/16th of hitting it now, so it's in the perfect spot.

Intresting, if it is out 99% of the time, then why fill it? The wood trim would finish it off nicely.

you could move up the 2 units a little up to balance out the space on top and bottom.. you could make a custom button panel to control all the new toys (move from top or just back it up w/ another one )
some graphics could be cool or a logo w/ neon behind it or something
horn driver as center speaker (they're rectangular)

(control panel for a ControlGenie voice recognition/sequence event controller? )

phat ride man ..
