I like the look of metallic on light colored cars and black on dark colored cars. Personally I think the metallic works better and doesn't fade so I may even consider it on my car.

I don't have pics, but I have a WDP with metallic. It is 3m tint. I have 35% and IMO it looks good. I think it would look better if it were tinted more, however in TN it is the most that is legal and I got a lifetime warrantee if it is legal. The main reason I got it is because it blocks 98% UV, 65% light, and 46% heat. It has a slight green color because of the window color, but it is not much at all. I would go metallic, black only blocks 16% heat. Also, I would look at bronze if you have a white black or blue car.

i have metallic on my car, which is a dark green...the slight green color of the metallic tint actually looks pretty good on my car and matches it pretty well. i have 15% on the rear and back windows, 28% on the fronts.

 

You mean there are different colors in metallic? I gotta find pics.

Lumar Tint film is one of the best. Its metallic dark color, and life time warranty... I got PT 28% tint on my car.

FYI, in NY tint isnt legal at all on the front driver and passenger windows, but i have always had all my cars tinted 33% all around and have never had a problem, even when i was pulled over for speeding, or driven past checkpoints set up by cops to check for expired registration.

In CT, 35% is legal all around the car.
