It's an 03 color, has anyone seen it? Is it a metallic? Please explain...

I think i saw a royal ruby on 610 South..today... hmm.. this maybe hard to understand..but my thoughts were that it looks just like the ABP..but red... it's got that bright and dark combination with the color flipping.. it looks great.

The only red that was available on the TL is the Firepepper Red, and it's not offered on the TLS..

Yes, I'm serious, I've been wanting a car in this color, ans when I saw it listed on a car site explaining changes for '03, I was excited! I will ask my local dealer I have his business card in my wallet.

 

According to the 2003 brochure, the Ruby Red will replace the Firepepper Red on the TL-P in August 2003. It is not planned for the TL-S.

come to think of it during lunch today I did see a deep red TL on going eastbound on 635 in Dallas. Not sure if it was a TL-S as it was far up the street. It wasn't the close to the firepepper red color as my wife has a firepepper Accord coupe.

I'm looking at the 2003 TL brochure and it says that the Redondo Re Pearl will replace the Firepepper Red Pearl in August 2002 (p.29). However, it doesn't place a symbol in front designating it as a TL-S color, so I'm assuming it's only for the TL-P

 

I'm not sure how close I am in that photoshop guess.. but we'll have to see, the salesman claims it will be on the TL-S... so we'll see.
