NSX engine swap???

The engine on the NSX is pretty unique, and doesn't just bolt up to any other engines/tranny in the honda lineup. Do you have any underhood pics because I am not buying it.

Those are NOT 3G TL wheels. They didn't come with rivets/screws like those shown.

I searched for the cost of an NSX engine. If you can find one, the best deal I found was $7000 off a 1992 with a broken gearbox...

If this guy is just buying $7000 engines (plus whatever additional costs to fix the box) I doubt he'd be driving some ugly ass legend, which is front wheel drive by the way (now we are talking a whole new axle/drivetrain setup...and this kid is in school still?).

As mentioned, show me some pics of the engine and then I'll shut up....

im pretty sure the NSX engine layed out the same way as an FF, my bro has seen an NSX engine in a civic before.. so maybe it can be done.. not cheaply but still its not like an impossible swap.. i saw one in a CRX but that CRX was MR lol so thats different

you never know maybe he/someone he knows works somewhere where they came across the engine for really cheap

I must say though i usually really like legends.... wanted to buy a 6speeder.... but Im not really feeling that one

That car has had so much chassis, frame, and body work that its as much a civic as my BMW is Either way, without the custom frame work, an NSX engine wouldnt even fit in there let alone bolt up.

To get an NSX engine into a Legend, 10's of thousands of $$$ would have to be spent is custom fabrication. A quick look at the paint, rims & brakes makes it obvious he didnt put that kind of money or detail into that car. The engine, tranny, etc from a midengine, RWD sports car wont just pop into a front engine, FWD sedan.

This guy was obviously just talking out of his ass to try and impress someone who didnt know any better. Ask him for underhood pics next time, I already know what they'll show.
