I did a search on this site and came up empty so I figured I'd post this......Has anyone seen/heard of a company who makes Mercedes-type side mirrors for a 2000 TL?? You know like the ones with the LED blinker? Or even ones made for another car that would fit ours?? I think it would be pretty nice but I havnt been able to find anything on it.

 

and you wont find anything....it can only be custom made. No known companies produce those for our TLs.

 

go to those small shops that sells aftermarket parts. they can order custom stuff like that. well, not all shops, but there's this one place in jersey. oh you live in jersey. go on route 46, there are a bunch of shops near little ferry/hackensack area that can do stuff like that. there's a shop that also makes custom body kits out of carbon fiber. They have two cars.. umm i believe the last gen accord coupe and a 95 civic si coupe with the entire body kit, hood, and trunk made of carbon fiber.

if it was that simple as to order one, most of members here, would of had it. Im in the middle of custom making it myself. You cant buy/order that since it doesnt exist.

Well thanks guys, I kinda figured it wouldn't be as easy as just ordering them. Just a little wishful thinking. In the meantime, if anyone does it, let me know how it went.

 

For those of you getting this done custom, how much are you expecting the upgrade to cost?

And do they use your existing mirror?

I would absolutely LOVE to get this done to my car.
