Question MEC Connector?

Hi folks.

Please excuse the extremely lame question but where and how do I locate the MEC connector in my 2000 TL? I'm trying to get rid of the SRS indicator which came on - and stayed on - recently due to what I believe was a drop in electrical power (not anything related to airbag, etc.)

I'm trying to follow the instructions for this procedure resetting the SRS light but can't seem to locate the MEC connector

SRS Reset Procedure

For those of you kind enough to respond, I'd ask that you use the most basic "idiot proof" explanation possible (i.e. start by opening the driver side door, etc.)

Thanks a million!!!

Open the drivers door, Get down on your knees with a flash light and look under your dash board at the back side of the drivers side fuse panel. It is located there.

Hi there and thanks for the really quick reply!

Is there a cover to remove in order to access this area or is everything out in the open?

Edit...I guess there isn't a cover.

Here is a snapshot of the area I *think* you're describing. Which connector is the MEC connector?

Great! Thanks for letting me know.

Hopefully I can pull off this SRS reset without blowing up the car!

Hmmm...I just assumed that they would charge my $100 or whatever their minimum is. No harm in asking.
