Hey guys, getting kinda scared but my Maintenance light flashes for a very long time after the engines starts. It must have flashed for about 2 to 3 times after the last light goes out (SRS). Just reached 10,000 miles bought in April.

 

It's normal. You're due for maintenance. Initially, it just flashes, eventually, it will remain on.

The manual explains it in detail. Check the back of the manual for what is recommended based on your driving conditions and either have the work done or do it yourself. The manual also explains how to reset the light.

I would list the steps, but I don't remember.

 

Thanks so I guess its not the same as the engine light. Phew got worried there.
