Question M3 LED mirrors on 00TL

I ordered a set of powered M3 mirrors with L.E.D. signal for a 00 Accord coupe from www.blitzwheels.com for my silver 00TLnavi. I would like to know if any of you have these mirrors on your car? If so, do you have any pics? I would also like to know if any wires have to be damaged from the factory mirror for the new M3 mirror to work? (i.e.: heating/harness)<just in case I put the factory mirrors back on. Thanks~ PS. I will post pics as soon as it is done.

I am still in shock that you are gonna put those cheaply made mirror's on an acura??( and you will lose the heated mirror function to boot) But generally they are plug and play.

Smile Check out this link

Acurasan, I saw those mirrors on an Accord 4door and they looked very classy, not rice at all. I am going to have my factory mirrors customized with E-class turn signals one day but for now, I just want the Benz look. Thanks for your opinion though. If they turn out to be cheesy looking on my TL, I will sell them to one of my friends that has an Accord. I searched around and tried to judge the quality of the mirror before making a purchase which is hard to do when you are only looking at pictures and I hope they turn out ok. By the way, check out this link: http://www.fastandfuriouseast.com/ga...cuz_accord.htm

Vincent (VDo) has M3 mirror on his 00 TL. Remember, it's not perfectly bolt-on. He had to do a modification to fit those in. No pic for you, sorry.

Do you know if the factory mirrors could be replaced and still have the "heat" function? I don't want to have any wires cut from the factory mirror. I assume that they just unplug and the end could be stored in the new mirror

Acurasan, when you replied "you will lose the heated mirror function to boot," do you mean that the heat function or wires would be damaged if the mirrors were replaced? I hope that I could have them put back on one day when I get the E-class conversion. Any replies would be appreciated...

What are the M3 mirrors and E-class mirrors? Are they the mirrors that have a slight blue tint to them, or are they the mirrors that have the turn signal effect? Or maybe neither of the two?

thanks

speed, the link didnt show up. The morrors will fit, some need minor adjustments. But i think some look really good. I seen a smaller version of our stock squarish mirrors that point slightly up and it looked nuts.

What's wrong with the stock one's? At least my stock one's will fold down on the passenger side so I won't hit the curb while I'm parking.
