Is this stuff any good for a complete fuel system treatment?

seafoamed the ol TL for 16 pages of pics and tips- its better than lucas and will clean more areas. Have a read!

 

I've used it with good results. It cleared up a rough idle issue I was having.

 

I was a big user of Lucas for years- spoke directly with their tech rep- then azine pointed me to Seafoam.
Did the same research on it and trials-
Whatever you use- check the doseage. While 3 oz says treats UP TO 20 gallsons- thats max dilution. You need to know MAX effect doseage-

For seafoam that 2 oz per gal of fuel super cleaning dose or 1 can in 1/4 tank of gas
1oz per gal - regular use cleaning

 

I think the issue here is that of availability rather than efficacy.

Seafoam is not readily available in Canada, at least in the Western part of it, while Lucas products can be found in Canadian Tire stores all over the country.

 

i used in my old car, i never really noticed a difference....
