Have been hearing a rumor about that trannys replaced after 05/ March is better and doesn't break again. Now I am checking out one acura that had trouble in the past and trannies replaced. Is there a mark somewhere telling it is newly redesigned tranny that will not break or the older one that will break again?

BTW, the one I am looking at as 02 TL S, Blue, has an extended warranty.
Vehicle history is 1 year as lease vehicle, 1 rear end collision, and rest is 2nd owner.
Negotiated price 12.5k. Is that a deal?
