Today I went to In-and-Out for lunch over off of Rengstorf and 101. I took San Antonio rd down there..

On the way there, literally.. I saw 5 99-01 TLs in a row. 1 heather mist, 1 silver, 1 laguan green, 1 black, 1 WDP. Pretty cool to see almost all the colors next to eachother. How they all ended up in a line, I don't know.. but they were all lined up on the left lane. And here I come on the right lane passing them and coming to a stop a bit in front to the TL at the front. I look over in my mirror and I see them all checking out the 02 tails!! it was a nice feeling...

Kinda makes me want to get other mods to make my TL more distinctive.

I with I had my acura-tl sticker already so i could have gotten more members even if all except one of them were older.

I am getting some tails too! I am not sure if I can make it to the meet; if I can make it I will be late. How long do these meets usually last? I'd like to be sure to get there before anyone splits.

Definately get the tails. You will love them, and they would look so nice on your Black TL with the tint and everything else you have.

The last meet I went to, ppl were there early and some came later as well. I think everyone had lunch together too. The last meet was at Microcenter's parking lot over by the Mercado movie theater. Almost everyone stayed until about 2:30, after that, they all went for a drive up skyline and hwy 9.

The meet on June 10, should be pretty long. Since we are not only doing a BBQ, we are also showing our cars off, taking pics, also playing some sports. Just a day of hanging out, shooting the sh!t about mods.

I bet it probably will be all day since the wheather is warmer than it was back in Jan.

But i will show up in my 530i rather than my stock 2000 TL.

No no bring your TL so people can take some "before and after shots". It's good to be able to line up a stock TL with a modded TL to compare

The 02 tails definitely will make your TL stand out, especially if it's black too.

I went for my Oil change today and I thought they would say something since Jason, Danny and I seem to be the only ones mooding their TL in this area.

No "ACURA" badging, 02 Tails, and a Comptech Sport sticker and no one even said a word.

They are the total opposite of Park Ave.

They do look cool on your color car, E-dub.

shows that theres a lot of tl on the streets!

yeah they are getting more popular. I think that the tails make the most difference on the silver TLs. The amber just doesn't go with it. You should get them too, Silver, NBP, WDP, and (for you Adam) Firepepper Red look sooo nice with the new tails. So you know if you see another 99-01 TL on the road with the tails, more than likely, they are from this site. I have seen AcuraTL's and yu888 around, I spotted them right away because of their tails.

Yes, I'm in the Bay Area, I live in San Jo and am moving to Redwood City next week. I visit my folks over in Sactown usually about once a month. So just in case I see any fellow TL/CL owners in Sac, they'll know it was me.

I'm actually planning a road trip down to LA next month, I be down there for a week driving all over the place. I'll have my acura-tl.com stickers on by then so hopefully I'll be able to spot some other ppl from this site.
