what is the loudest exhaust for around $500 or less? i was thinking about HKS but im wondering if it is gonna be loud enough for me. someone help me decide. oh, BTW has anyone just gotten mufflers? i might do that since it is cheaper and might be loud enough. what are your suggestions?

Get the HKS and take out the resonaters and buy a high flow cat, actually two.

 

Put on a pair of universal A'pexi N1's and pull our your resonator.

 

forget the cat. It's useless. Get a test pipe.

 

right @ 500$, i would go HKS, or go for thermal if you want sound...the 5zigen is loud also...good luck...Shyne

For $200 more you can get the Tanabe Hyper Medallion which is the loudest catback for our car.

 

My cousin has the HKS on his Cl and they dont make any noise at all when cruisin and there is absolutely no resonance at all. But, when he guns it, i swear it sounds like a mini ferrari. Its a way better sound than the comptech which ive heard at a meet before.
