Look At My Engine Here and Help
I cleaned the engine the other day and I'm happy with the results. Basically used that Gunk Cleaner off the shelf of Auto Barn and then used some Tire Wet foam to shiny up the plastic.
However now one question, I saw this tubing leading into the Air Intake Tube or whatevever its called and it looks like it should be connected but isn't. I dont remember at all d/c'ng it, and I followed this D/C'd tube that I'm holding in my hands in the pic below and it leads to the oil compartment I believe. Can somone tell me if its suppose to be inserted into that hole that is in the pic?
Basically a pic of someone else's TYPE S engine will do, cuz the Non TYPE S doesnt as I tried to compare it already.

After you spray that on all around, just let it soak and let the foam do its work, then I used a wheel brush that has soft bristles (most wheel brushed do) and scrubbed all the parts that I could reach with it, even the painted parts on the sides of the bay. Then let it soak some more and then after about 5 mts. used a garden hose and sprayed a mist, and excercised extreme caution when I came into contact with the battery, alternator and all other electrical connections. I sprayed from the top working my way down and made sure not to shoot too much water to hurt the engine and if I felt it was too much water I stopped and let it drain down a little.
After that, I sprayed the foam one more time and let it soak in to get whatever spots I missed. This time let it soak for 10 mts. and there were spots the brush couldnt reach so I used my fingers to just slightly scrub it. Did the same mist tecnique and scurbbed with my finger to get it clean.
After all this, I removed the saran wrap from the alternator and started the car up so that the heat could induce drying and that is when the I started to notice the "Gunk" funky smell. I used a towel and wiped whatever I could safely. Overall the smell stayed there for about 2 days.
Then when dry, I used Black Magic Tire Foam and and sprayed it on, and as you know that will dry by itself shinning up the rubber hoses and plastic trims. You wipe off whatever is left after a half hour.
I suggest using Simple Green because I've heard people have gotten good results with that. Overall took me about 45 minutes to do a thorough job.

That's the intake charge for PCV, if I remember right. It's not detrimental if you don't have it plugged in, but over time explosive gasses could concentrate inside the engine if you don't have it plugged in.

UPDATE: Dealership inserted the breather tube back in however there is no clip at the junction point to kind of grasp it and hold it in place. Is there suppose to be one, I dont know.

Now before you ask me why I was at the dealer for an oil change, its because I have a lifetime oil change program through them that I purchased for $200.
This board is too funny sometimes!! LoL!

f***in' "A"! that's cleeeeeean!
do u eat off of it? and btw, nothin wrong with getting oil changed at stealership, i never have time to do it myself no matter how much i'd like to. plus i was getting it done at some other place for like $2 more than the stealership price til i found out that the 'ship only charged a dub, which is equal to half a tank of gas!
