Lock the doors automatically when over a speed?

Hi, how to set up to lock the doors when running over a speed? I have another car that can lock all the doors when running over 25 KM/H, but I could not find any setting on 2001 3.2 TL. Has it got this feature?
Thanks

We dont have that feature from what i know. Ive always wanted it, my sisters 5 series does it when you go over 5mph. You can actually set it at whichever speed you'd like though, also you can set the topspeed of the car LOL

Doors lock on their own if they are closed and the key is turned to the on position I believe.

NO THEY DONT!!!! self lock or programmable into the ecu

we do NOT have auto locking doors
YOU the human, must push the door lock button,,located on upper door panel
available at any speed

other handy info: you can control rear windows operation-locking out rear switch, if you carry kids!

tip: open ac/heat rear vent located at back of drivers armrest/cd storage area.
the airflow needs an exit or condensation can form in the plastic tubes
leading to bad smells or worse

I have this feature on the family Odyssey and I hate it

The car is always locked whenever I need to get out. We don't have this feature on our other cars so we always forget to unlock it before pulling on the door handle. It's just inconvenient.

Why all the need to lock the doors while driving? Security?
Door locks are a misnomer. They do not "lock" the doors they just disable the handles from the door latches.
Unless you are parking your car, feel unsafe in a certain area or do not want the uniformed (like a child or dumb in-law) to just open a door at speed I feel it is safer to leave the doors unlocked. You may need to make a quick exit, say in case of a crash.

Locked doors don't make me feel safer in my car. What I have in the center console does.

Do you have a VIPER or any other Aftermarket Security System?

As I Said Central Automatic Locking can be Implemented with some Mods, They Come Standard in many High-End Aftermarket Security Alarms or Installed Alone...

But whats wrong with just pushing the Door Lock with your elbow??? Ive done this so many times that just feels Normal every time I step in to the Car? Hey and its Free Too!!

Well, that explains it. My car came with a Viper, so I figured it was already part of the car. Always thought it was OEM.

Yeah VIPER Alarm uses a Time System rather than Speed! Once the Car is Turned ON the System Locks the doors in a "X" Given Time.... Some other Systems that use this with Remote Start are a Little Different...

"randomtought" try to See if your car locks at the Exact time everytime. It most be around 5-15 Seconds after the Car Starts.

BTW (I Used to Install Aftermarket Alarms).

Same time every time. Roughly 3 seconds I think since I never really counted. Really need to find a manual for it to figure out this stuff. Took me days to figure out some valet switch or reset when the alarm stopped chirping.

My buddy had one that locked the doors however many seconds after you'd get out. Fucker was always locking his keys in the car...

hahahaha The most newer Alarms use a Magnetic Sensor + Chip which Detects the key in the Car and Stop the Auto-Lock...
Its a Marvel how much Aftermarket Systems have Improved these Days..

i use to have viper security on one of my cars, it was bi%ch when it locked the car on startup. because my passenger were idiots and would always wrestle with the lock latch of their door and eventually shaved the gears clean. i had to replace the motor's gear twice in 2 years until i sold the car. my rdx has this locking feature when you go over 20mph or smt and that's annoying too because when i do a quick stop at bus stop or something i always forget to unlock the door (you have to put in park to unlock doors again). im glad our tls dont have that feature. this locking shit are all BS. i wish we had auto on/off headlights instead and maybe fog light drl isntead of highbeam drl.

^^I absolutely HATE this feature. We typically leave cars in neutral during most service work and they don't automatically unlock like when you shut it off in park. I'm also annoyed with the newer chryslers that you cant put in neutral with the engine off.
