Loaner Car from Acura...
I dont' know if this have been mentioned before, but I figure with all the complaints on this site. I will go for a lighter subject.
List the loaner cars you have revieved from you Acura Dealer while you car was in the shop. List from Best to worse.
Me:
2002 Acura RSX (whitel) great handling car- Dealer Vehicle
2000 Toyota 4runner. Sweet. Sweet. Sweet.
1999 Acura Intergra (Dayglo Blue) Ewwww!-Dealer Vehicle
2001 Buick (Felt like grandpa and got sea sick too) Rental
2001 Chrysler Minivan (Didn't drive it off the lot.) Please!!!!
2002 Ram Pickup Crew Cab 4x4 (9 freaking MPG!!!!!!!!!) took it back the next day
Now that I looked at this list, I spend more time in other vehicles than my own. Geez. Feel like Motor Trend Test driver.

Worst...well, it's a tie...a Mercury Sable (for 23 days) and a TL-P (for 6 hours) that had nearly an inch of dirt (not dust...DIRT) on the floor of the car, some broken shards of window glass on the back floor, was so musty it smelled as if it had been in a flood, and there must have been a hole in the cowl somewhere because there was a breeze coming from under the dash even with the windows closed and the air/vent fan off.
There was no Best... ;^(

In the 2 & 1/2 years that I had my 2000TL I think I had 2 loaner cars. The worst was a 2001 ACURA Integra 4 door sedan. It did not even have 5,000 miles on it. The car was knida smelly I think the last people that had it smoked. The car did not have any pep in it I had that car for 2 days. They were going to give me a Kia Sportage mini SUV wan't to be. I told them my elderly mother cound not get up in that thing. The next time they had Enterprise Rental pick me -up they were located just about 300 feet from the ACURA dealership. They put me in a 2002 Chevy Malibu with about 2000 miles on it. This car was not that bad but it was classic GM. I had it for 3 days & was real happy to see my TL.

I have only had 1 loaner. It was a 2002 RSX. I really didn't like the car though. It did handle OK, but seemed to hop a little more over big bumps in the road. Definitely felt sportier than my TL-S but it just seemed to loud and slow for me.
I think I felt this way because I have been in my friends RSX Type-S a few times and the RSX loaner just did not compare.

hahaha.. yea.. dangnabit .. is that at esserman acura in miami by any chance? I got the same ford escort deal when they were taking a look at my transmission.
now I'm having my transmission switched at rick case acura and they were nice enough to hook me up with a dodge intrepid from thrifty rental. or maybe it was thrifty that was nice enough to give me an intrepid instead of a stratus.
either way, I'm comfortable enough with the intrepid to not complain. after all, it has leather, a slightly underpowered but pretty big nonetheless v6, and slightly more toys than the non navi-TL (namely the neat little fuel mileage computers and compass) .. and oh yea.. it handles pretty nice for a car almost a foot longer than the TL due to it being decently wide to match I guess.
I dont think I'd trade my TL for it of course.. but just saying .. its not a bad car to use in a pinch. ..
