nice setup, however... i use standby instead.... try it.... MUCH faster, both booting up (1-2 seconds max) and shuttin down (about 1-3seconds MAX) i would say.. my carpc boots up faster (and plays music) then the factory deck takes to read the cd (and play it) .....

get a yellowtop or a good battery, u don't have to worry about the battery draining since standby takes very lil energy....

at the end of the day, u can just simple hibernate (like u did) .... but i left my car on standby for about 3 days without having a problem with starting it up.

he is using Roadrunner.... its an opensource free software... however check out centrafuse and streetdeck.... owns any other software out there..however both come with a price.... so far.. no hacks/cracks.. ...

i have them on my carpc rite now.... centrafuse is ok since i have the beta (no limit heeh) but streetdeck, i just reinstall every 30days (takes 5 minutes of ur time) til they find a crack for it :P

oh, dont' forget, Roadrunner is just the base software, u need to download the skins and plugins to make it work the way u want it... u can even mod those as well.... unlimited possibilities if u ask me..... heck.. u can even connect any device from ur car to the carpc using relays that are controlled by software..... hmm i think i should stay quiet now.... thats a hint from a huge mod i'm doing rite now.... :P
