Lip Spoiler
I was interested in trying to find something similar to an M5 lip spoiler but have no idea where i might be able to get a hold of one. I saw it on one car that was posted in the forum. Anyone know where and how much it would cost to get a hold of one?

would they fit correctly or would you have to modify them? It doesn't have to be specifically an m5 spoiler, but I would like something that is similar and low profile.

Thanks for the link. I don't think I want to put a spoiler on my car that is semi-permanent and only $15.99. Besides, you would still have to get either of them painted and I read in the CL forum that a lot of people have probs with the ones from ebay. Either the paintjob or just the cheap spoiler can't hold the paint.

Just got mine installed a few days ago. Got the lip spoiler off ebay for $47 shipped, took it to a paint shop and got it painted for $35. The paintjob isn't half-assed and the spoiler isnt of bad quality... in fact, it's made from polyurethane.
$82 total, not bad at all imo.
it's nice and subtle.

If you want to play it safe, buy the one from www.c-c-c.net ... at least that way you know its a good quality lip spoiler. eBay isn't always bad, but sometimes you do get poor quality items from there ... I'm guessing there's a difference in quality between the $15.99 one and the $35 one on eBay, maybe one is fiberglass and one is polyurethane.
The M5 replica spoiler on c-c-c.net is probably your best bet unless you absolutely must have the real thing, then spend the $150 on the BMW one.

yeah it is pricey, there hasn't been and occurances of things gettin stolen that i know of, but what i like about the spoiler is that its pretty subtle and lowkey that at a glance it's not as obvious as say, an A-Spec Spoiler w/backup camera

Definitely Mugen, those m5 spoilers are too small that you can't even notice it. And some spoilers these days are way too big and ridiculous. Mugen is right in the middle with the perfect size.

Yeah the Mugen is surely sweet looking... but really can't jusitfy spending 4+ times the money on a spoiler. Plus I think it would look better on darker color cars (other than SSM i suppose).
