Lights went out, please help

Two days ago, I noticed that my left head light was out, along with both my driving lights (the ones on the outside bottom corners behind the oragne reflector). Also, both my fogs were out. So I ordered an hid bulb, thinking that this was the most important thing, and after installing it, the light still didn't work, but both my fogs now work. I checked all the fuses, and they seem to be good, the only other thing that I could think of is the "lighing relay" module that is inside the fuse box. What exactly does this do, and how can i tell if thats the problem? does anyone have any other suggestions?

BTW... i recently cleared my headlights and had some moisture in the left one, which I am assuming probably might have something to do with all this. Also, don't know if it means anything, but also I did the "fogs lights only" mod (fogs can turn on w/o headlights) ....but that was a long time ago, at least a year, so i wouldnt think that has anything to do w the problem.

Did you check the ballasts? I've seen some members with ballast problem after moisture got inside the headlights.

someone please help me out....
If I use a non-oem ballast, will the the light emitted from the two headlights be different ?(I will still be using the same 4300K stock bulbs on both sides).

Also.. does anyone know our stock ballast specs? (volts, watts)
would this work?...http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=36476

the light outputs should be the same if you are still using the standard 4300. as for the 00 being the same as a 03 the only thing i know is different is the bulb type (due to the different headlight style) the plug is a little different for the bulb, but you can get it to work

another thing... if i was to use an aftermarket hid kit, what would i do about the hole in the bottom of our headlights that is made to work with the stock one?
also, what is specific to d2r/d2s? just the bulb, or also the ballast and ignitor?

alpswd,
Don't pay $160 for a ballast! You should be able to get one for around $100-125. Check out HidTech.com. Their prices are kind of high, but you will get good equipment. Going rate for a brand new pair of ballasts (Hella) is 180-250. Good luck.

I would stick with the Hella Generation 3 ballasts (ballast/ignitor integrated) or the Matsushita ballasts (oem I believe). I am not sure if the 4th Generation hella (separate ballast and ignitor) would fit on our cars.

OK, well now it seems as if my whole fucking electrical system is messed up. None of the accessory lights -- guage lights, rear lights, and everything else that would normally come on when you turn on the headlights will light up. Additionally, the ONLY lights in the front that work are one of my low beams, and my brights, which are now dimly lit even when they are supposed to be off. Someone please help me...
