you paint your car, you'll regret it, trust me i was gonna do it but it aint worth spending that much money. i got a gold tl 2 and i was gonna repaint it but then i talked to my mechanic and he said it would run me about 2-3 grand, plus i think gold looks sick when its in the sun and washed.

Dark Emerald. It looks awesome waxed in day and at night! Tint it out and it looks real slick. Darker color are always better looking when waxed right. You get that mirror finish that can't be seen in lighter colors.

why would he regret it? if he doesnt like the color any more and wants a different color and can afford it why not. paint it ABP, WDP, or LGM

ABP(Aegean), SSM or NBP.

I have SSM, and it sparkles both day and night.

I'd paint it candy midnight blue or silver pearl metallic. Do you have black or tan leather?

see, if your gonna spend the money to re-paint the car, why would you paint it a factory color!? i say if your willing to re-paint it, paint it a custom color, you may spend a little bit more for custom paint BUT at least it will be custom

A color change is going to cost alot, so be prepared. Just remember, if you're getting it done right, in addition to the exterior, they're going to have to paint the engine bay, door jambs, and just about every other place that is currently gold on your car. It is a BIG job.

2,3Gs? I'll say more likely 5 to 6 Gs. If you changing a color you have to paint the door jams, engine bay area. Last time I repainted 98 Mercedes Benz 500SL (blue to black), I charged him almost 8Gs and took me near 3 months.

I think you should get r32 blue..thats hella nice color..but in my area it's kinda played out. Everyone has a r32..and it's freakin blue.it pisses me off. IF your going to paint it stock color, either get ABP or the white. That's my opinion though.

Good luck with your choice

i have a thread going on regarding 99-01 TL's in different colors... they are not totally accurate to the factory colors but pretty close so you should get an idea.

to do it right, it'll cost you alotta money. i'd say sell your car and buy something you really like. it will cost about the same and the results will be much better.

^^ Not to be an ass or anything of that sort but ..can you not type like that because it's pretty hard to read what your writing when you capitalize every first letter on every word.

actually, caps lock capitalizes every letta....LIKE THIS..OR LIKE THIS...AND FINALLY...LIKE THIS...but anyway....gold TLs are piimp. just slap some type s rims on her, couple of random type s badges, fake nav antenna, and BOOM you've got yourself a new 03 TL-S NAV NGM...if that makes you feel better....

EDIT: and about RE painting your car?....don't do it, it sucks, plus it's expensive, and it won't look good. my auto body shop doesn't even take requests for repaint anymore cuz of the hassle, and expense. the inside of your doors and shiznit will still b gold, unless they take em off and repaint---- i'm gettin a headache.
