Lighted Power Mirrow Switch in 2000 TL
I see someone said that the 2001 TL has a lighted mirror switch? What part of it lights up? How does it look? Do you think the switch would work if we installed it in a 2000 TL? That's the one thing I always wanted. Figures Acura would finally put it in. It's the little things that count, ya know?

a red light (next to the switch) comes on when the mirror heater is activated. Is that what you're talking about?
another cool trick is that all the lights on passenger window controls turn off when you turn off the master control switch. Pretty neat.

That red light is in the 2000 models as well. I thought I saw someone say that the 01's mirror switch illuminates like the power window switch, so you can find it in the dark. If it's true, I so want that switch!!

I think he was reffering to the heated mirror switch. Our switch is a direct carry over from the honda accord so I don't think there is a lighted version.

Nope, I meant mirrors.. in fact, long story behind it, but I got to test driving a 02 TL-s by myself today much fun, even though the car doesn't seem to peel, even with traction off? no idea why??? Only thing I can think of is it wasn't broken in yet?? Oh well, I'll post that separately to the 02 TL boards. Nevertheless, from what I can see in broad day light, the actual power mirror switch lights up. The word "mirror" in the center of it lights up, and I think the outlining of the box around it lights up too. Think that'll work in our 00's? And if the 01s dont have that already, in the 01's? Just a thought...
