License plate help

Yesterday I was putting on a new license plate frame and I somehow misplaced the two metal pieces that are used to screw the license plate on. I have no idea what those things are called or where I would get them. Any help would be appreciated.

Im guessing you mean the brackets for the front plate?

the hardware store for two L brackets of small size and a few sheet metal screws to install them into the bumper, and bolts to the other end of bracket, or nuts and bolts for each connection depending whats available under your bumper for bolt holes

Looks like those clips that I used to install mudguards. Yea I'd say dealer is your best bet.

I know what you mean. The little metal clips that the screws screw into. I'd check some parts stores before I take the trip to the dealer. Parts stores may have those in stock. We use those when we're installing electrical panels. Home depot may even have them.

I called the Acura dealership and the guy told me it's called a J nut. He said places like auto parts places should sell them but they didn't have it when I went to Autozone. I'll go check Home Depot and Lowes and if all else fails, just go buy them from the dealer.

thanks for all the help though
