BTW, didn't MB have the yellow fogs way back in the late 80s/early 90s?

dang...that looks real nice
it's even "yellower" than the IS
but does the reflection from the ground of the yellow fogs bother u??...it seems a bit bright and REALLY yellow
whereas the IS300, the reflection seems to blend together to give a whiteish look.
how does it look in person??...maybe it's just the pic

Quite the contrary IMO.
Anyway, those bulbs are pretty low wattage huh? The yellow coat probably can't handle high wattages.

I have the film and my fogs are even more yellow than yours (my fog bulbs are stock)....that's why I'm going to get 2 ballasts and use my old stock D2R factory bulbs. I'm going to try to achieve more brightness output, and bring it down from orange to yellow.
Looks good!

My point exactly. You would have to adjust them to make a difference.

As for the stock headlights....I know you can adjust it up and down and well as side to side...I'd like to know how to adjust it side to side.
P.S.
The 4th pic is an exception since it was taken from the top of the moon roof.

The fogs adjust the same way the headlighst did, they have the same knob right behind them. i just adjusted them the same amount I adjusted my headlights which I dont remember exactly but was around 90-120 degress??? its right behind the fogs, and I did it using a 10mm??? socket just like I did for the headlights. You probably actually saw it when you replaced the bulbs.
How did you adjust the headlights side to side? I didnt know you could do that. Anywayz hope that helps.

I've read all 4-pages and I don't think people have mentioned the following point:
A fog light is designed to spread light no higher than the horizontal plain from the source. It is designed so that the "yellow" fog beam will not reflect off the fog and blind the driver.
If you were to put those extremely bright yellow bulbs in the driving light housing, you will blind the on-coming traffic. And, even blind yourself when it's foggy outside.
My apologies, if this have been brought up. But, it's an important issue that people should be aware of.

Heysick, are you on the rag lately? You've been pretty touchy as of late.
Well, Mercedes started the yellow fogs but they were located beside the headlight. Lexus was first in making the fog lamp located in the bottom of the front valance. The 1st gen LS had yellow fogs in the headlight ala Benz (sigh, I know).
The 98+ GS (with HIDs) and 2001+ IS and 92-94 ES has em on the bottom.
THe 95-98 RL has em where the old LS has em. THe 95-98 TL has em there too.
The Last 240 SX had em on the bottom, what a Lexus coupe knock-off that was.
Actually, it looks identical to me.
IMO, the yellow light helps none at all for you, it is very visible to the drunk driver on the other side of the road. I am actually running Sylvania Silverstar bright whites in my fogs, that makes a much bigger difference IMO.
