lol its great actually. I also cut the shift rod down so it feels like a short shifter!! j/k but i did cut it down about 3/4 inch. Thats why it comes so close to rubbing when i put it on 1st gear.

About the size, i am not sure exactly what size it is. As long as you find one that is the exact size then you will be fine. I got a universal knob so it brough all kinds of different size fittings.

I got the same set up as ridindurty. Cut the shifter and everything. I'm not too sure about the thread size. Cause it's a universal, but it looks way better then the stock set up.

Oh and the power....... the power from this thing is absolutely amazing. I think I'm pulling like 3g's off the line......... I'm serious......... I know you don't believe me....... but it's true..... Ok I'm lying. But it still looks nice.

This would look a lot better if you cut the shifter down like a half an inch. I know it seems scary but you will like the result. Cause it just looks way too long like this.

I used a hack saw. and if you cut it down and leave some threads then that is enough for you to put your shifter on, and it will look a lot shorter, but just take a little bit at a time, and go to where you like it. Yeah it will take a while but better safe then sorry. Just like I have told everyone else though, just be careful how short you go otherwise you won't be able to get your shifter down to first gear.

Oh and you could also use a dremel or something like that to cut it.

Oh and if you have a tap & die set then you won't have to worry about runnin out of threads.

If i were you, i would buy the shifter first, put it on and then put the car in 1st gear. Measure how much room you got from the shift gate to the bottom of the shifter. Then cut that much off the shifter rod. If you want to keep the oem knob then just measure it now. Thats what i did and it came out pretty close

Ok here are a few more. Dont mind the dirty car and this is the lowest it will go. The shift knob hits when in first gear.

You guys happy now
