I am having some problems with my hid light blub. Tonight i saw my left hid light came on way after the right and then i switched off and back on but this time it didnt come on. Tried it again and no luck. Waited about a minute and it comes on. It keeps on doing this but doesnt go out once one. The bulbs are pretty new not too old. Any ideas on what i can do to see what the problem is?

 

You may have a bad ballast or ignitor

 

i really hope, not. how much do they run in cost? Is there a way i can test it before buying it? Are they easy to swap from sides?

 

Swap the bulbs side to side first- its much easier
Did you buy brand new bulbs or some ebay used but good bulbs?

A good auto electrical shop can test the parts- there is super high voltage stored even after turned off- so if in doubt let a pro do it

 

yeah, i got these brand new, they are by kaixen, thought it was good brand. Maybe i was wrong Cant afford to spend anymore right now lol
