My first Hit and Run

Since I bought my car, I garaged it everynight. Yesterday night I went over to a friend's house and parked my car on the side of the road (kind of a busy street), next morning I woke up and I see this:

It pissed me off to see this b/c I take care of my car so much and I wake up in the morning to see this.

I thought it was just the bumper surface that got damaged, but I checked behind the bumper, the metal part that holds the bumper in place is bent inwards (towards the wheelwell) and my bumper clip holding the bumper is broken as well (I just got this fixed last month too):

Whatever caused this damage it couldnt have been a car, looked like a bike hit it, since it bent the metal out of shape.

That's bad luck. I don't know if you should get it fixed or not. GTA is absolutely horrible for stuff like this. And fixing it won't be cheap either.

Damn Volly that sucks! You think a bike did it? I had to park in Philly today and almost every car I saw seemed to be dinged up...glad i don't live in the city. Anyhow good luck getting it fixed, hopefully insurance will cover it too.

Sorry that it happened to you. I know how you feel. Several months ago I was in the same predicament as you except the only differences was I got hit in the rear bumper in the parking lot while having dinner at a restaurant. Came out and found a nice, big dent with no contact note.

I couldn't afford to fix it professionally, so expensive. I hope you get yours fixed soon though, goodluck.

you can take that out with some patience. Take the rear bumper off, heat the area with a hair-drier and put outwards. I did that to my old car whcih had unpainted bumpers...

Sorry to hear what happened. I've gone through so many hit and runs now that I feel that I'm cursed. My 89' Camry had the rear driver side door dented in while I was at a wedding reception, the driver side door was bashed in really bad on my 89' Celica while at my high school, the driver side door was dented on my 92' Civic (I was able to pop this one out for the most part) while parked in front of my apartment, and when my friend let me borrow his 98' Integra GSR, I parked it on the street in front of my house and when I came home after work, the fender and driver door were obliterated. Pretty much every car I have owned has been in a hit and run. Reading this should hopefully make you feel better for at least a few seconds.

Wow guys, sorry to see your damages. There are people who respect others property and then there are mutha fukkas who need to be drawn and quartered. Most likely, they won't come forward because they fall in the latter category. Sorry to see that. I don't have major damage, but I had a "malicious" door ding that can only be done by a kid opening an SUV door or an angry parent who opened an SUV door..assholes!!!

Sorry about your hit bro. but at least it was not as bad as mines. the guy that hit me deliberately ran me off the road and i went into another car and both cars dug out. over $4300 in damages. so that can be fixed by yourself. just get a mallet or hammer and just go under the car and rebend it out. get some spray paint and paint it. it happend to me as well on that side. i did the same and remounted the bumper on.

i hope you can get that bastard that hit you. trust me i know how you feel i got hit and run twice already since i had my car.
