Led Conversion

i saw a site that sold LED conversion kits for our TL's

i can't find it again.

does anyone have this info?.

no one makes a led conversion kit for the TL. the only thing made for the Tl is indaglo gauges.
you can convert the bulbs to LED's but that is alot of work, and it requires soldering

hey.. i have a question.. my friend said if i get blue leds in my car.. it'll hurt my eyes when i drive since its so bright.. and also.. that the console would be hard to see.. you guys ever experience this?

i have blue for my gauges, its with indaglo but its not hard on the eyes at all

IMO, the new TL and TSX gauges in white hurt at night on the brightest setting.....just for a comparison....

I drive like this for more than 2 years, still loving it. not hurting at all

Gauge overlay kit. Mine came with a switch to go between blue or green indiglo. $30 for parts, 2 hours for installation.

thats tight!!! i have a question though.. which leds did you use? can we use any wide angle leds? or does it have to have a certain specification?

Wow those are niceee
but a bit pricey though. you can get those parts if ur willing to look for them at radio shack, etc.

Actually RadioShack does not carry the surface mount resistors that you will need for the conversion, nor do they carry 3mm LEDs. Plus their blue 5mm LEDs are $4 each and they are about half as bright as what you will want.
