2003 TL: Just installed front struts [KYB] and job was fairly simple.....just please note that the strut tube contains a welded slug on it which is the basis for proper full insertion down into the yoke top, as well as the proper strut tube to yoke rotation. The horizontal yoke screw needs to of course go through the depression on the strut, but that only gets you somewhat close to being perfect. The best bet is to use a large dental mirror to see behind the strut tube and jiggle the loose yoke up to the proper level [the slug will kiss down on the yoke] and also twist the yoke until the little tab goes into the yoke slot. Then tighten the horizontal yoke bolt.
