Wink Killed by an Integra!

I'm driving home from the dealer last night, cruising along about 60, enjoying the sound, the feel and the smell of my new NBP TL-S. I haven't gone 5 miles and in the rearview, I see a fully-riced Integra charging up behind me. He whips into the left lane beside me, we look at each other and both grin. He punches it and is off. I look at the odometer: 11 miles. I wave and keep on cruising. And grinning. I pop in a CD of Jimi's greatest, the grin gets bigger, and I couldn't care less about the Integra. Life is good. Turned over 100 miles on the way to work this morning. See ya in another 500, rice-boy!

I love this freakin' car! Thanks to all on this board who provide such valuable information and constant entertainment. Pics to follow soon.

he he... I wanted to gun it several times before I hit the break-in period (I let it go to 1000 miles), but that's come and gone, so now I'm game... only problem is, no one has stepped up!! Oh well, I guess that's what happens when you commute in rush hour!!

Thanks, dude. Same here. Maybe we need to get this midwest fall meet off the ground again. Interest seems to have waned.

P.S. Went to lunch today. Didn't eat. Couldn't pull myself out of the car. The end of break-in looms ever nearer.

Funny you ask about waxing. I ordered all the Zaino stuff a while ago. Guess when it came? Yesterday! My wife called about 3pm and told me UPS just dropped it off . . . I was home with towels and bottles in hand at 4. It looks awesome, btw. Good stuff, that Zaino.

Bought it from Rebecca Hernandez at Superior. Can't say enough good things about her. Knew the car, easy to work with, no B.S. She gave me wheel locks and a trunk tray she had sitting in her office, a "we owe" for all season mats (that were supposed to be in yesterday) and had me pick out a logo hat (or mug, or whatever). She's going to UPS me the mats and the hat to save me the trip, although I'd happily drive out there over lunch.

If you go with the free mug, don't put it in the dishwasher, my logo came off!

It required quite a bit of self control, but I managed to be good during the breaking period. Just got my oil changed a couple of weeks ago and 2 nights ago, pimpy boy in a riced civic pulled up and started reving it. Light turned off we went.....I wonder if he could read my license plate from that far back....
