Once in a while, when i'm getting out of the car, after i take out the key from the ignition to leave the car, the car still makes that beeping noise which is suppose to remind me that my keys have not been taken out of the ignition. Has this ever happened to anybody else? Is there a fix? It doesn't always happen, so i don't know if it will happen when i take it to the dealer. Is this normal?

 

I'm not trying to insult your intelligence, but could it be your lights are on still?

 

Could be that the sensor is not turn all the way back and you took out your key...This happened on my bros Saturn..He takes out his keys but the sensor is still beeping it could be you just need to turn it all the way back.....I know, I know you can compare a saturn and acura....Sorry this could be the reason..Have a dealer look at it..

 

I believe those are two different sounds. Isn't it?

That happens to hondas alot. Because it happened to my last car. Anyways, just stick the key back in and turn it to the first notch and then back and take the key out. That should take care of the problem. It isn't a big problem. I wouldn't worry about it.
