i highly doubt it. that is why they are hacking up there old keys and putting them into the accord casing because of the immobilizer

I was talking about the keyless entry. If i knew that it was compatible i would be the first to try this mod for the 2nd gen TL.

Have you ever had a car where the remote was part of the key? I have, and I hated it. It was so big, it would take up too much space in my pocket. Looks kinda dumb too. Separate remote fob is much better.

that only means that it would be twice as big and twice the thickness. i think i'd rather go with one whole unit as compared to two

i have done this for my 3g TL and my mom has a 2G so i will gladly try and program it to her car if this would help you guys. I see no reason why it woudnt work with the exception of the linked seats and radio stations (which i lost too).

Sounds like a good mod but I am not sure that I would like it either. Especially loosing the memory seats. My girl drives my car occasionally and it's nice when the seat automatically resets. My Fob also looked jacked up, but I ordered a new one off ebay for $30 and it looks like new.

wont work

the fob will not link with the 2gen tl. i tried it. i'm not sure if it is a different frequency or if the actual code the fob sends is different. i believe that the 2gen tl is an older system.

I'm sorry, but that looks like the biggest waste of time. Obviously, someone is very bored.
