Yeah I haven't posted for awhile but I wanted to chime in and let everyone know the J32 is still running perfect. Just painted the grill in fact..I'll post pics soon as it kinda looks like a 6 speed CL-S. Still use VTEC and the upper rev ranges daily.

D-A-Y-U-M! That is incredible. Acura needs to pay to have you in a Volvo-esque commercial once you get to 200k miles. I hope I can develop the discipline to keep my 3GTL for that many miles.

Does Acura put out those little badges you attach to your grill like MB does for certain mileage thresholds??

First tranny made it to 164,000.......#2 still doing fine. This car has otherwise been problem free. Replaced one idler pulley (rattled) and one rear door handle (broke off in really cold temps), other than that just the usual wear items like pads, wiper blades and so on.

Yeah I just looked at acuraTL2000's car on another post and it looks really good with the kit and wheels. I could paint a kit right here at home as I have everything needed. I did my rear spoiler three years ago. I could install it too. Hmmmmmm..............

i got my kit for $393.75 from my buddy J. Dewey Kinchen, in Georgia. He is the parts manager for an acura dealership, and thats the best deal i found, painted AND shipped. Believe me, the paint matches perfectly, here is a picture of mine at a recent meet.

keep in mind, my car has yet to be lowered, so the kit on yours would looks awesome!

Wow, I never realized our cars were so similiar! Your car looks great. The H&R oem springs would do the trick! Wish I could get by without a front tag!

I'm logging in at 120,XXX miles on my 99TL . So far one tranny and the only major problem was the motor mounts.

yeah, im not supposed to take my front plate off either, but i take my chances! i think my next mod infact will be lowering the car either H&R or Comptech if i could get a good deal on a used set. also, let me know if you want that kit, and ill hook you up.

Another idea is get Koni's all around, keep the stock springs and set the Koni's on the lowest perch. Or keep the stock shocks and get lowering springs to save money, or if you have the money get both! The handling improvement is hard to believe!

Funny too about TL wheels...alot of guys replace them but you know, I think they look pretty good. Yeah they are only 16's but they are light too.

yeah, i think our stock wheels are better than most stockers look wise. i am planning to just get the springs right now, or get my friends type-s springs that only have 7k on them, he replaced his w/ koni's, and then drop the car. the koni's are quite a bit out of my budget hahha.

Yeah Kris awhile back I took the whole bumper off and took it to the local body shop as I didn't trust my painting skills, so it still looks pretty good. The only thing bugging me about 200K is that I would be due in for ANOTHER timing belt job and I would rather spend the $600 on mods that are upcoming for the J32 over at the CL page from Scalbert. Thanks to Black Shadow, Kris and DJ!

*Snicker* too bad they still can't build a tranny right? Sorry, had to be said.

Chuck is my inspiration too! I want to get to 200k miles now.
