Just Passed 100,000 miles yesterday!

So far so good I guess. Here are some stats for the fun of it.
Broken / worn out items - 2
One front brake rotor, one heated seat pad (wire punctured at the factory by one of the hog rings).
Mobil 1 oil changes with filter - 25. Oil needed in between - none.
Trans. fluid changes - 4
Car washes (home) approx. 280
Tires - on my 3rd set
Best MPG - 32.5
Going in for timing belt next week.

That's about it. I am not bragging, but I wanted to post how well this Acura product is holding up and is precisly why I bought it. I could go longer on the oil but I have a goal of 300K so we'll see. Tranny perfect so far. Thanks to all the members who have helped me learn how to work on this thing and how to make it last.

You must drive the heck out of that Tl to get that many miles in 2 years.

thats pretty good. when you said the front rotor was replaced, you mean both the fronts right?

you should also have the valves adjusted with the timing belt, might also want to do the water pump too

Just curious, why do you drive your TL more than your 91 Legend, which has only 55K mile?

Damn, my 2000 TL has 50K already. I need to drive my 85 corolla GTS more!

Same here, well almost I got 65k miles. I don't think I'm going to be the owner of the car when it hits 100k

:wow:

I thought I had a lot fr haing a '00 with 45K on it. I drive an average of 60 miles a day plus the occasional road-trip or Acura-TL meet here and there

I'm glad its holding up that well because the car will probably be passed to my sister or brother a couple of years from now. Keep us posted and I want to see a pic of the odometer when that bad boy hits 300k

Thanks for all the comments. I'm a sales rep and cover accounts in three states. The Legend is used by my son, the other two vehicles by wifey. I'd post pics of the speedo but haven't quite gotten that far. Average daily mileage is close to 173. The one rotor got alittle warped but wouldn't turn out true due to an odd hard spot, so I just bought one. The other trued out fine and is still on the car. Factory pads still on there too.

Cool

I passed 25,000 glorious miles on my '00 TL last week. Shooting for 250K like with my earlier cars.

Later...AH
