I was looking to order HKS, but after couple of feedbacks stating how quiet it is and additional modification is needed... etc etc. I decided to look for something else.

I ran a search on exhaust and came up with one of the thread with Apex-i WS exhaust pix. Strangely, the guy (thsiao) that got his exhaust goes to the same shop i go to... Impex Motorsports, in San Gabriel. So i called them up and asked about the exhaust and I will be paying $600 with installation for a catback exhaust. Cheap, no?

I will be installing it on saturday. Will post pix this weekend and after i have some fun with it, will post a review. woo hoo!

Hey man I would like to see your ride someday. I got the same exhaust for $600 too. There is a new WS II though... not sure if would fit in our car but there its out there. When I bought mine it took them a couple freakin months before the exhaust got here! After the installation, both of my mufflers are not perfectly straight, they both seem to be tilted a little to the right. Let me know how yours turn out. I told IMPEX about the mufflers and I went back to get it straighten up but all they told me was that they could not fix it, and indeed, after several tries they are still messed up. Kinda annoys me but its not that big of a deal. Here are some pics I have no doubt that you will love the sound and the look of the exhaust (despite its slight flaw).

You can't see it with these pics. I will take one on Thursday afternoon and post it. I have even considered going to a muffler shop to straighten it (that was the solution the dude at IMPEX gave me after he failed to fix it), but just not sure if worth spending more money for such a small thing...

i think ill go with the Apexi as well over the CT. I like the look way better but i just wish it had the sound of the CT

Comptech Catback = 1100
Apexi WS = 600 w/install.

big price different.... I decided to buy Apexi after seeing thsiao's pics and i think comptech tips look too small on our cars.

The Comptech mufflers and tips are just too small, especially if you have the OEM body kit. With the body kit, the tip is too short and just plain too small. I love the sound of the Apexi WS, and you would only know what I am talking about if you have actually heard it yourself.
