So i was coming home last night from a friends house when i saw a deer cross the road in front of me i slowed down assuming that deers always travel in packs and there probaly would be more. All of a sudden a deer slams into the side of my car. The estimate is $4064.14

I try to keep this car in such good shape i never got into any accidents or anything but between my headlights getting stolen and this, I realized i just have bad luck.

Wow bro, sorry to hear about your misfortune. Hate to see things like that happen to such a beautiful car. Just a side note, those are some odd looking dent marks though, I see one impact in the front and one in the rear. Did the dear hit your car twice or maybe the deer was spun around after the initial impact?

Funny, it just so happens that the first two people to respond to your thread both have an SSM TL-S just like you

how did it make 2 huge dents? i mean they are like 4 feet away. did it realize it wasn't going through the car and backed up and tried again?

f'ing deere are retarted.

we rented a car once and there was some glass on the back seat. the rental place said that some lady hit a dear and it jumped right when she hit it and broke the windshield.

consider your self lucky. go buy a gun and get your hunting license and make a difference about it. its amazing how many deer you can kill in a season.

My advice: Move to Cali. (you'll just have to dodge bullets)

There are deer all over CA; but as you move closer to the center of LA, the number of deer drop, as the number of bullets rise...

Ouch! That sucks that even deers do hit-n-runs. You said you noticed a deer running in front of your car before this happened. What if it was a doe, and that the deer that hit you did it on purpose. Maybe it was a male and it thought you were a danger to his girl. Anyway, no one can blame you for slowing down, I would've too. Hopefully this will inform readers that confront this situation in the future to get the hell outta there as quick as is safely possible.

Dude, that's messed up. Glad you're alright, though. The deer could've hit the windows and shattered the glass all over you.

Judging by the estimate, I'm guessing they are going to replace the door sheetmetal altogether? It would be pretty tough to pound those bishes out.

Wow, sorry about the bad luck That had to be scary as hell...thinking you dodged the proverbial bullet then bam! you get blind sided....

That has to be frustrating...its very obvious you painstakingly take care of your car...such a set back. Could buy a supercharger with what it will cost you to get that fixed.

that sucks man! About 3 weeks ago I was a few inches from hitting one at 80mph! The fucking deer was walking across the highway and luckily there weren't any cars near me b/c I swerved on the side of the road and fishtailed my car, but I got it under control luckily. I saw one tonight but it was about 15 ft. away.

Whew. Now I understand why my sisters are so paranoid about deer. They live in the deep country and drive 35 mph down 55 mph backroads after the sun goes down. I never understood why, but now I do.

ouch! that looked more like a pack of deers hit you, not one. i got deers all over my work and sometimes i feel like they can just ram into me. could be doing a deer gang initiation or something. boy sometimes i thought about jumping on them and see how far i can go.

A good body shop man could, BUT it would be alot more cost effective to get new doors/skins
