What the hell are you talking about? You can only hear the intake above 5000 rpm's. my comptechs are pretty loud at low rpm's. Are you a crack smoker?

Calm down mattg, didn't mean to upset you.

I guess I havent heard the exhaust as well cuz i've been having too much fun stepping on the acceleerator. Does anybody know how much faster time wise 0-60 my car is now?
Thanks for your replies

unfortunately, you only added about 12 wheel hp to your car... 0-60 time will be almost unaffected by those 2 mods, maybe a couple of hundredths will be shaved.

Is not really in what RPM range. Is at what position is the throttle body butterfly. Of course the higher the RPM the more air is need thus more air is been induted by the intake. Let's put it this way.

You could reach high RPM without the butterfly fully open making alsmot no noise, but you are still at high RPM, of course to reach the highest RPM the butterfly has to be fully open.

You could make a lot of noise by just punching the gas (butterfly fully open. This would happen at 3000 rpms and up the higher the louder. Of course if the butterfly is fully open the RPM's would reach the top end.

So what makes the intake make noise is the throttle and not at what RPM but like I said they kind of work together.

Now the Short Ram is fvcking loud at any point.

i dont have headers, but I have intake and exhaust...the HKS exhaust is very nice sounding at low rpm or low throttle...very sporty might i add...when i punch the gas to full throttle, yes I hear the intake more...I wanna hear the exhaust more, but the only reason why I dont hear it hum as much is because of the relieved back pressure...this is why you hear the intake more at open throttle, because of the better flow the exhaust is causing by relieving the back pressure...hell if you wanted sound, you should have went with the greddy's rather than the pea shooters...Shyne
