Just picked up my 2002TL Silver w/Ebony. The car is great. It is such a jot to drive compare to my 1996 Explorer I just sold.

Any easy and inexpensive ways to increase performance?

congrats on the buy... i got the same combination

general concensus on the board seems to be a cold-air intake for a good first mod...

i know not the first thinga bout car mods... but i say you should put in hyperwhites...ahaha

I know very little about mods. I leased mine so I would also need mods that are easily removable and do not leave any after effects.

The air-intake seems like the 1st move. Headers would be nice but not sure how easy the are to put on.

I hear there wwill be a chip coming out sometime soon, so that might be a choice.
