how many fender clips do i have to remove to pull it off from the body? I removed 4 and was having a very hard time seperating the fender wall from the body/bumper... How do I pull it off from the car to install the lights? Thanks!

 

Front blinkers? I dunno. I'm clearing my lights tomorrow though. Show up Sunday and I'll show ya.

When I installed the cleared tails I found I like the M-1s better than just a white light.

You only need to remove 3 clips, it is right there in the manual. Page 2 hundred somethin'

Since mine was lowered, I had to jack up mine and remove most of the clips before I can stick my whole arm inside the tire well to change the damn turn signal bulbs. Good luck.

I'm thinking of getting rid of my stock amber bulbs too. I just saw the bulbs and they were blue.

Do they light up blue too? Or is it more like clear/white?

Pretty much like the headlights HIDs?? The perf shop guy told me that there will be a hint of "blue". I don't want to get pulled over by having "blue" superwhite lights.

there is no blue tint at all... when they are blinking they are almost as white as HID... i think as long as you still have the orange reflectors, then you are fine.

Well since I posted that I decided not to clear my lights, too much hassle.

BTW, you don't have to take off the whole dang fender to change out the blicker bulbs! Just take out about 3 clips holding the black plastic fender well, pull the plastic back and snake your arm through to the light. Its a pain in the ass to get them out and back in but easier, I'm sure, than taking off the fender.

What is the difference between polarg m-12's and polarg m-14's. is one brighter than the other? cheaper? what's the deal. thanks

 

where do you buy the Polarg bulbs??? Which should I get for my TL??? Also, how much are they???

 

I believe the M-12 is about twice as bright. You can get them anywhere that sells Import parts.

Tails use different bulbs.

 

TL's use the 168 wedge style bulbs in their turn signals right???

Orange part is just a reflector. When you put the super white bulbs, they actually lite up superwhite instead of the stock amber. It looks nice.

 

but wouldn't the light still be orange, since the orange reflector is still reflecting off teh super white light? confused....

It's orange from the side and white from the front - since the reflector is only on the side and the blinker is clear from the front of the car.

okay, this is a stupid question probably. but the same bulb lights up the parking lights and turn signals right? so what happens when you signal? does the bulb light up even brighter then diminish a little?

*DONT BUY THE M-14'S!!

I have them im my TL now and i hate them. They are NOT as bright as the M-12's in Tann's pics. Actually they are not as "white" as the M-12's so they look a little funny with the HID's on.
Hope this helps anyone. Im going to get the M-12's as soon as some of this damn snow melts!
