Yup they fit just fine. When you get them, you'll need the wiring harness thats built onto the lights also.

Look at the thread I made in the 'performance section'

Compatible Accord Parts?
https://acurazine.com/forums/2g-tl-performance-parts-modifications-116/compatible-accord-parts-734652/

I also had a similar question on what other parts can fit and it looks like the 98 - 02 v6 sedan is also compatible along w/ TLs.

Congrats on purchase! I'm coming from a del Sol and I'm loving the 'luxury feel' lol

Yes, the 2nd gen tl is still an amazing car and if my sister didn't total mine, I would have kept her forever.

this is my second teggy too haha.
96 dc4 -> 03 ua5 type s -> 99 dc4 5speed

congrats on the upgrade though OP. I hope you are as happy with the tl as i was.

If it ever stalls suddenly while driving- replace the ignition switch
Acura did a recall replacement years ago but those fail too
call acura 1-800-382-2238 x5 with cars VIN and register as new owner
thats customer care center
they can verify the recall was performed or if you still need it- its free
the 4 speed in the 99 is more reliable trans than the 5 speed
Enjoy the forum- look down the list of thread titles for everything you need to know

question.... so the 99 tl is a 4 speed? i swear the other day when i was gettin on the highway i manual shifted for fun and i could it going from 1, ta 2, ta 3, ta 4 then when i put it back in automatic D4 it shifted into a 5th gear... and my tranny was already replaced by the previous owner at an acura dealer.... could it have a 5 speed auto?

it would be very expensive to install a 5 speed on a 4 speed car, different computer-shift assemblies etc

Whatever the numbers on the shifter say is what you got

the conversion involves more than accidentally putting in a 5 speed instead of the 4 speed

ok now im convinced i have a 5 speed transmission.. i did it again and shifted manually when comin from a dead stop and getting on the highway... i even stopped on a non busy on ramp... started in 1..shifted 2, shifted to 3, shifted to 4 and thought that was it..then the rpms dropped again like 2 seconds after i shifted to 4... i dont think my rpms would shift again if there was not a 5th gear.. they would stay steady... then when i was going 60 i shifted down to 3 and the Rpms went really high then i went to 4 again and it was higher than it was at the same speed before i did this... and then 2 seconds later it shifted again and rpms went down,, when im on the highway my rpms at 75 are 2200 so thats low for a 4 speed.. my jetta had a 4 speed and those rpms were at 3100 at 75 so i know the difference... but im 100% its 5 speed.
