I am looking into putting a partial titanium/aluminum/silver whichever is nicest in the centre console. Specifically the two strips that run back to front along the shift gate/cupholder and dash (i.e. these are carbon-fiber now). Problem is it appears that the kits that I have looked at exclude these 2 pieces. It is going into a silver 2002 tl-s. I also want to get rid of the carbon fiber on all 4 door panels and replace it with the above mentioned kit/color. Problem is I don't know if these kits exist in the aforementioned configuration. I would be fanatastic if someone that has done a similar conversion would give me some advice. Pictures would be crazy.

i want to do a similar mod...i had my center console strips painted by a bodyshop...but i want to see if there is an esier way to get the door panels silver ...

 

Do you know where i can buy that from? or do i have to get it custom done, could it be a dyi job? if so do u know the steps of doing that? do dey also sell the 4 door trim pieces too? thanks.

Only 'problem' is that you have to send them the pieces.

 

hrmm.....i rather buy the pieces that just add on, that might come out too expensive haha

 

ive never seen any kits that include teh center pieces or door pieces. if you want those, you will have to take them off and either have them painted, or coated (not cheap) in the desired wood, carbonfiber, ss ect....

 

I see, i dont really wanna pay someone to do it, ne one willing to trade thier dark burlwood fair exchange for my burlwood? =)
