Interesting Future Speculations By Motor Trend
Just thought I'd share with my TL Brothers...
FYI: Says the TL is due for a facelift in 02 and redesign in 2004.
4 more years to enjoy our TL's as the most current generation. 4 more years to either get a supercharger or start saving for the next biggest thing.
Other things of interest. New BMW 5 series, and potentially bringing back the 6 series coupes.
Civic Si due out with the 7th gen Bodystyle.
NSX gets facelift in '02, then V8 in '04-ish...

wow the 4000GT should be exciting.

did they talk about the next correvet? i know being an asian boy i should only be interested in lowered civics or anything inported with less than 3.6 liters(J/K

3 or 4 more yrs sound reasonable to me, to enjoy the TL driving pleasure. After that, the search will start all over again for the best car avail. for certain price range that matches your need ...

2002 Nissan Maxima: Engine increases to 3.5-liter/260- horsepower V-6. We are f****d again
But the CL-S has 260 hp..........LOLOLOLOLOL and a slushbox 5-speed! The Max is gonna have a 5-speed, maybe 6-speed manual from the new Z......we get raped bad! Unless Acura can remember why they left the plans for the 6-speed manual from the Legend Coupe.......

Hmmm, time to start saving my nickels and working overtime - a possible BMW 6-series!
With the demise of the 8-series and the introduction of the exciting but unattainable Z8, BMW has left me without a dream car. This seems to have changed now.
I fell in love with my buddy's Mom's L6 years back in high school. A beautiful coupe for the day, replete with good performance and many luxo features. Jeez, the dash was covered in real leather and it even had a climate controlled storage bin in the back! The 840 and 850 were pretty darn spiffy, but a tad overweight. Hopefully the new 6 will fix that, and if it rings in at under fifty grand I may have to pony up for one.

About the Corvette - they are comming out with the C6 that supposed to put out about 400HP!!! Thats nuts!

As if it isn't expensive enough...
