UPDATE: Preview
Alright!
With all delays due to life and things outside of the Acura Realm, I have decided to make DIY videos instead of typing a document. Its been too long and Phee made a great DIY, but its my turn to share finally.
Here is a Preview of the clearing of the cluster gauges. Hope I don't bore you with the vids

Actual LED mod to follow shortly
Once all videos are complete, I will post a new thread so members will realise its done, and not just another comment on this thread that they are still waiting......

As for the odometer, its a simple fact that 99 TL's LCD screen sucked big time compared to the 00-03 model. I already transplanted mine with a 00 screen, but not sure if I should mention that in any of the videos.....
Alright, going to bed now. As you could probably tell from the bonus video, I sound a little tired.

OMFG..you are the mother effing man right now!! This doesn't seem too bad so far because it's such a great "video-up" of the work but the LED part is yet to come. On the edge of my seat waiting for it

You could, but if its the same ones I recommended to use back when I submitted the project to LEDautomotive, or the ones I recently saw with another member who wanted theirs done with my mod, they will have hotspots.
With removing the filters, a better distribution of light is required as the blue filter removes the hotspots and highlights the dark areas.

Forgot to mention, on the first raw video posted, I show the dimmer working as you will notice the LCD odomter going dim. The rest of the cluster goes dim as well, but thanks to the camera, it doesn't show it as good as the O/D.

Will this mod allow you to dim the gauge lights all the way still? I'd love LED lights, but for me it may not be a good mod since I almost always drive with my gauges totally dimmed at night.
Is it brighter all across the board?
