Installing WooD dash kit..

i finally got my kit and installed it a few days ago.. It looks great, but a few pieces dash pieces didn't stick properly. They are not making contact with teh dash (by like 1/4inch or so). Around where the dash curves by the "SELECT" and "RESET" buttons. And the really really thin pieces that goes around top of the center air vent..

My question is, can i use some kind of glue to secure those little portions. I think something like elmers glue might be too messy, and crazy glue might make it a permanent fit..

Did any of you run into this problem?? BTW, its the same kit that's sold on this site...

thanks !!

elmers wont stick. Crazy glue will just make a mess. You need to get some of the 3M high tack slender double-tape that was on the pieces. You can try a body shop supply store for that. Its probably the same 3M tape thats used to adhere many door moldings.

Had the same problem. . .
I decided to use a little super glue since I plan to keep the kit on.
Good luck!

I said to get the 3M body-trim double sided tape, not that fat thick stuff you can buy at Staples or Home Depot. You gotta get the stuff at an auto body supply shop. Its what they use to hold on door molding. It is very thin, aggressively tacky, and is probably what came on the dash kit to begin with.
