In the box that came with the AEM intake, it should come with a piece of paper that tells your the measurements in cutting the piping. You will NEED to cut the pipe if you want to install the bypass valve. Here is a pic of my intake, hope it helps:

Yes, same thing, you need to cut the pipe to install the by-pass

Check out the link below, it's for the AEM, but installing the by-pass should be the same.....

I looked at the link for the install, looks like that is the only instructions i have seen that doesnt require removing the front bumber...Is it possible without pulling the bumper? Thanks for all the help..

You don't not need to take off the front bumper. All you need to do is pop off several of the plastic screw tabs underneath the wheel well. Jack up the car a little bit for more room. I would recommend removing the driver side wheel, definitely help for more space to work.

I didn't have to remove my bumper, wheel, or wheelwell lining. I just removed the plastic cover over the core support (radiator) and about 4 plastic clips on the bottom of the car to loosen the plastic trim under the stock airbox.
I also didn't have to cut my pipe, I just installed a shorter filter from Aerospeed and it fit fine. I didn't install the bypass valve either, maybe when I install my headers....
