Thanks for all the replies.

I'm pretty sure I won't have problems with emissions with this swap. I don't know about other states. But I don't think it'll be too far off from the 3.2 engine.

Oh yea my friend does wear shoes, he wasn't doing any work that day I took that pic.

Keep us posted, this is a cool project...I know you said ported/polished head, are you going to use more aggressive cams, oversized valves, balanced crank or any other internal mods?

If you have a non Type-S car there are several parts you will need to purchase on top of the standard swap parts. There are lots of posts about this conversion on this and many other forums. Kris's thread for his swap into a 99-01

InspireTL, the engine looks sick. Keep us posted on the build

I doubt I'd be done before Kris. I got major bills I need to catch up on and next month is really busy for me.

ChicoOG It is pretty much just a OEM honda rebuild. Nothing major yet.

In the future, I plan to do the works and eventually plan for boost.

This thread just proves that Acurazine really does have some VERY car smart people on it. That is not the case in all car forums (I wont name names).

Just started putting the tranny back together last night. Gonna finish some more things tonight.

There are a few parts that I am missing for the swap but Brandon (Soyboy26) is gonna take care of me.

This thing should be in the car in 2 weeks!

Yes it will.

The thing is Honda likes to build their cars like LEGOS.

Alot of things are interchangeable between the same series.

Some parts from a certain series can fit other series from my past experiences with other builds.

^^^ the SC still fits this setup. It probably wont make too much power tho seeing as tho Jake and a few of the other guys in our areas who did these builds bumped up the compression. But it would still gain a nice bit of HP. I have no lcue what the Odyssey engine puts out stock

It will still fit. Even with the high compression it will still achieve great gains.

I'm guessing my setup untuned would be close to a supercharged Type-S.

We will see.

Based on my buddies 7th gen accord 3.5 dyno...I'm pretty sure it could happen.

Man this is an interesting build. And I never knew we could fit the 3g TL transmission in our cars. If I had the money I would want to follow your footsteps on this whole thing

I think you could do better. This is just an OEM rebuild. Nothing major yet.

I just have to come up with funds for next year when I start doing the big things.

School, work, and my girl's school is killing me and of course the regular bills to top it all off.

Otherwise I'd have another car by now.
