anybody have a sony T616?

i just got one a couple days ago and i like it so far. it's nice and compact, has an awesome battery life and a (fairly crappy) camera. i really like how the screen blacks out and the fact that the silver covers around the keyboard and the back are real aluminum.

Looks sweet. I'm looking for a new cell and found the Samsung I600. I'm still looking though. How much and does this come with Pocket Outlook?

I use a T616 off and on. Its a nice phone, good size especially. My only problem with it, is that the ear piece volume is pretty low, so in crowds you sometimes have a hard time hearing. I bought another phone to swap back and forth with cause of that.

It's a pretty good phone.

You should know that phone is not made by Sony, as in the Japanese electronic company.

It's Sony Ericsson and their phones in North America are made by the former Ericsson, a Swedish cellphone manufacturer.

Nevertheless, the phone is still pretty good.

i'm having trouble with it dropping calls at my house. my digital service was iffy here, but this GSM service seems to be worse.

is it possible that a nokia 6200 would get better service than the T616?

i don't have a land line at my house so good cel service is pretty important.

i'm going to trade this phone in tomorrow for a nokia 6200. i hope it gets better service at my house. if not, i'll either have to get a land line or go back to regular digital service.

ok, i'm trading my T616 in tomorrow for a nokia 6800. i paid $95 for the T616 and i'm getting the 6800 for $10 so that's good.

if i still get poor service should i go back to tdma or dump att for verizon?

i just want to be able to use my cell at my house. i have no desire to get a land line.

The 6800 is probably the best phone I've ever ever ever owned. Reason:

Awesome reception
The keyboard idea is great (I text msg a lot)
The screen is recessed so that if you drop it and it slides (which I have done numerous times) it does not scratch the face.
The speakerphone and radio are +'s
The battery life is good

If you're looking for a good all around phone and don't need a camera, the 6800 is bulletproof.
