hey eric,

not sure if the PM helped you out much. fortunately you're familiar with removing the dash and gauges....that's the biggest thing. just be sure to go easy on the needles when you put them back on at the EXACT location of when they went off.

i mounted the dimmer/color switch on the empty switch slot to the left of the steering wheel.

for others, see my sig for pix.

Songoku: It looks like the hole for the speed and tach guages are so large as to allow the needle through without pulling them off, but also so large that the holes (and thus the original factory gauge overlay) shows. Is that true? How would that look, especially when putting the gauge over the black (no Type S) guages? Wont there be 2 black rings in the space around the needles?

Mines aren't that big. I am not sure what kind of gauge you got. But yes. I didn't pull the needles out because it's really hard to take those out & put those back on.

I don't see the those black rings around the needle. Fine with me.

thanks for the instructions, the only question i havent been able to find though is do you need to take out the factory light bulbs for the spedo (the ones that light it up at night) or do they work in conjunction with the indiglo gauges?

Just leave them. The indiglo gauge just overlays on top of the existing factory gauge.
