Inaccurate temperature

Anybody know how i can fix this? It only does this once in a while. If i stop the car and start it again then it goes back to normal.

If it was a few deg off constantly we could tell you how to readjust. But for it to show that every once and awhile??

my car does the same thing....it shows like 89 degrees when it's only like 55 outside. however, it slowly comes back down to 55, but for like 10 mins!

This reminds me of the problem with the climate control system. Occasionally it'll say "20" for the temp (I have a US model that doesn't use celcius) and none of the buttons work. Only way to unfreeze it is to move the temperature knob.

How do you readjust by the way? My temp is always 5 degrees higher than the actual temp.

Did someone call me ? Did someone ask what my temp is ? Wait 20 seconds.... beep..beep..beep.... temp is 99.2 F. Sorry, I need to rest now. I am felling a little fever.

Turn ignition on
Hold down both select and reset buttons

It will start a continuous "BEEP"

Then -3 -2 -1 0 1 2 3 will cycle through the outside temp section. Release the buttons on the amount you want to add or subtract to the current temp reading.

or just unplug the battery, wait a few min, plug it back in to see if that helped reset the issue

BTW Fishy, you're in Atlanta and you have a Canada-spec TL? Or is that one of those shockingly rare 240mph TLs that there was a thread about here awhile back?

Kris you're a douche

Another thing, that nasty puke-ish color glow from that is just a camera effect, I hope?
