Ignition Coils/Spark Plugs

Do 2003 Acura TL come with the ngk or densos? I have densos In there so I’m thinking that the previous owner changed them. Thank you

Ignition coils

I’m having some issues with misfire codes.p1399(egr circulation) p300-p306. Checked out the coils and heard no response to coil number 4 so I replaced it and then got codes for numbers 3 and 6. I bought six new after market coils. Car has 173000 miles so figured I won’t have the car for much longer. How many ohms should each coil have and what prongs need to be checked on coil? Are after market coils ok to use? Also I cleaned egr ports(wasn’t clogged but had some carbon buildup. I think the egr valve is stuck so I bought a new one.when you take off egr valve it’s in the closed position if everything is working correct?

the only 'aftermarket' one i'd get is an NGK https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo...377008&jsn=851

You don't need to buy a new egr, you could just take it off and clean it. and yes it should be closed . you may have issues with it propped open with a piece of carbon that causes EGR errors. carb cleaner and you can try putting 12V to the solenoid to open it

Merged two of your related threads. No need to open multiples about similar things.

Not sure if all cars have the same coil over plug vendor, but it is my understanding at least some cars came from the factory with Hitachi coil packs.

True for some 3rd gen TL's and 8th gen Accords (I actually just replace some Hitachi ones on my mom's Accord) but not for the 2nd gen TL.
