I ran across this online but decided to not get it. I figure I'll post it here anyways for the guys that didn't even know we had rear tie-bars as an option.

MUGEN LOWER TIE BAR HONDA ACCORD 98-02

Keep in mind this is a replica...and I have NO IDEA how this would improve performance...if any at all (regardless of brand).

This is what it should look like installed.

EDIT:
Album : REAR TIE-BAR

Happy modding.

hehe... it should be good times. But will it work with the comptech headers? that is a good question. I know the neuspeed lower ties will not work with headers per APC.com. eh.. just a heads up.

just my two cents...

You're mistaken. We are not talking about the same part. This is for the REAR. The part you are referring to is for the FRONT.

Besides...the front WILL fit provided you use the apropriate spacers.

On a side note, Cusco front lower tie bar will fit with Stone Racing headers (and presumably Comptech and OBX headers). I have both installed, no problems.

Edgalang:
Yeah, the replica Mugen rear lower tie bar sounds like a good mod. The question I have is the quality...I hope it's not gonna break and collapse on you after a few years (like the Comptech springs that rusted out - re: post on AW)? Hmm...

It ties your rear control arms together. It works just like the front upper strut bar...but for the back...and for the bottom. In other words...tighter rear end.
