On the way to the Bayarea meeting today. While slowing down to exit from 92 on fashion island blvd. My car will not engage lower gear.

The car just chirps when down shift. This has not happened before. The same thing continued on the way home as well.

Also, noticed that my rotor is also warped. between 80-60 MPH, stepping on the brake produced very noticeable shaking.

Wow that sucks. I get the same feelings sometimes with the tranny but it goes away.

I don't understand as to why TL/CL owners have so many problems with their transmissions. Mine's just fine.

may be i just don't have luck with honda cars.

I had a lot of problems with honda.

Anyway, I have setup an appointment with Acura of Pleasanton.

Hopefully it is minor.
